Visit to the Grenfell Tower fire site,15th June 2017
In the immediate aftermath of the Grenfell tower tragedy, the consul had made a visit on the 15th of June 2017 to the site of the burning tower to inquire about possible Algerian victims.
The Consul met on the spot with some survivors including an Algerian family to whom she expressed her full solidarity. She also asked for some clarifications from emergency services as well as the representative of the relocation centres.
Fortunately, our services have not deplored any Algerian victim during this tragedy.
