As part of its formal activities, Ms Kenza BENALI, Consul of Algeria to London, has been received on the 24th July 2019, by Cllr, Ernest Ezeajughi Mayor of Brent at Brent Civic Park. This meeting comes after his election as head of this constituency.
During this warm interview, many subjects have been discussed such us the situation of the Algerian community established in Brent, the actions which have been taken by the British government towards Algerian nationals and the means that may contribute to the strengthening of the relations between the two countries.
Africa was also at the heart of the discussions, notably, after the victory of the national team at the African Cup of Nations.
The Mayor, seized the occasion to express his warmest congratulations to the Consul for the victory of the Algerian team by the African Cup at this great sport event, where 24 African teams took part.
