     Photo i Diaspora Competition

The Consulate General of Algeria in London is pleased to inform its citizens that the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has launched the photo i Diaspora competition 2025. This initiative is part of IOM’s program to promote cultural diversity and protect migrant rights from an intercultural perspective.

The competition is open to both hobbyist and professional photographers.

Each participant is invited to submit a series of three (03) photographs illustrating some the following subjects:

Health and well-being: the contribution of the diaspora in improving the health system and the well-being in both host countries and homeland;

Climate action and environment: highlight innovative initiatives through communities-led-efforts that combat climate change, and promote the environmental sustainability;

Gender equality and youth empowerment: capturing the diaspora’s commitment to the emancipation of women and inspiring future generations of leaders.

The winners will receive financial awards.

مُوجّهة لفئات الهواة والـمُحترفين

يُطلب من كل مشارك تقديم سلسلة من ثلاثة (03) صور فتوغرافية، تُجسّدُ أحد المواضيع التالية

الصحة والرفاهية: إبراز مساهمة جاليات الشتات في تحسين الأنظمة الصحية والرفاهية في بلد الاستقبال وبلدهم الأصلي؛

الأنشطة المتعلقة بالمناخ والبيئة: تسليط الضوء على المبادرات الـمُجتمعية المبتكرة لمكافحة الـتغــيُّر المناخي وتعزيز الاستدامة البيئية؛

المساواة بين الجنسين وتمكين الشباب: إبراز التزام جاليات الشتات في تحرُّر المرأة وإلهام الأجيال الصاعدة من القياديّين

يتم منح جوائز مالية للفائزين في هذه المسابقة
