1st November celebration, 6th November 2017
The Algerian Consulate in London commemorated, on the 6th of November 2017, through a reception organized for the first time in its new premises, the 63rd anniversary of the glorious revolution of the 1st of November 1954. During which the Consul gave a speech and documentary entitled "The epic of Algeria" viewed.
This ceremony was attended by more than 140 guests from the Algerian community based in the UK and representatives of the UK authorities, including Mr Tejinder DHAMI, deputy mayor of Ealing.
Among the guests of the Algerian community, some have even made the journey from the cities of Birmingham, Oxford, Lancaster, Edinburgh and Belfast, demonstrating their commitment to the values ​​of November.
A tribute was also paid, for the first time, to the members of the revolutionary family, represented by Mr Ahmed ADIB and Mr Mohamed FARID, during a commemorative ceremony organized on the 1st of November 2017 at the Consulate headquarters, marked by the lifting of the national flag, the reading of the Fatiha and the laying of a wreath of flowers in memory of our brave martyrs.
